Service

RefundTaxBack provides a read-only Shopify refund tax audit to help merchants estimate potential sales-tax over-remittance from historical partial refunds. The app does not provide legal, tax, or accounting advice.

Merchant Responsibility

Merchants are responsible for reviewing audit results, confirming tax treatment with qualified advisors, and deciding whether to file amended returns, refund claims, or credits with any tax authority.

Estimates

All figures generated by the app are estimates based on Shopify data available through approved app scopes. Merchants should reconcile the exported evidence with returns, payments, jurisdiction rules, and advisor guidance before relying on it for filing.

Billing

App subscription billing is handled through Shopify Billing. Trial, subscription, cancellation, and charge details are shown by Shopify before a merchant approves a plan.

Availability

We aim to keep the app available and useful, but the service may change as Shopify APIs, tax data, and app requirements evolve.
